George B. May Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. George B. May celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of their wedding
at their home in Everett, on Saturday evening, September 30, 1899. About one hundred
guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. May were the recipients of many handsome and
valuable presents, gentle reminders of the esteem in which they are held by their
many friends and neighbors. Mr. May is a native of Whips Cove, but has been, for
more than a quarter of a century, one of Everett's leading citizens.
