The Somerset Herald. (Somerset, Pa.) December 1, 1880
Miss Kate Hann, daughter of James Hann, Sr., of Saluvia, Fulton county, lost her
life a few days ago, by a singular accident. Her cousin was loading a gun,
preparatory to going hunting, when the hammer fell, and the gun was discharged. The
ball entered the young ladies breast, penetrated the heart, and caused instant
death.
