Bard 04/11/01 Harrisonville, 89 Edna B. Bard, 89, Harrisonville, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2001 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born in Harrisonville January 19, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Mary (Mellott) Decker. She worked at Knouse Foods, Chambersburg and she also was a farm homemaker. She was the widow of Lee Bard, who passed away May 12, 1986. She was a member of Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore and a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church Ladies Aide, Needmore, Greenhill Sewing Club, Harrisonville and the Civic Club, Harrisonville. Surviving are daughters: Normalee Anderson, Needmore; Donna Jane Gordon, Needmore; Joan Lamberson, Dover, PA and Pat Hutchison, Indianapolis, Ind.; son, Richard Bard, Harrisonville; sisters: Cleo Fisher, Cleona, PA and Vera Woodcock, Waynesville, NC; brother, Wendell Decker, Windber, PA; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and a great-grandson. Funeral services were held at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11. Rev. William Swope, Rev. Everett Wocock and Rev. Charles Gummo officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sideling Hill Christian Church Mission Fund for Steve and Becky Swope, 10424 Sipes Mill Road, Needmore, PA 17238.
