Bard 05/19/04 Needmore, 82 Evaline E. Bard, 82, Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit and formerly of Needmore, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Fulton County Medical Center. Born in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, August 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Elmer V. and Lillian (Wible) Mellott. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Michael E.H. Bard, who passed away July 1997. They were married December 24, 1939. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Needmore, for over 60 years, and also a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church Women’s Auxiliary, Needmore. She is survived by a son, Rev. Donald R. (husband of Phyllis) Bard, McConnellsburg; sister, Edna Shaw, Three Springs; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James L. Bard, and a daughter, Betty Jean Bard. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Pastor William Bair officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Church and Cemetery Association, 226 Ebenezer Church Road, Needmore, PA 17238.
