	Flossie V. Bard, 79, of Tareyton Lane, Portsmouth, VA., died Friday 
February 23, 1980, in Portsmouth.
	Born on Big Cove Tannery, PA., she was the daughter of Amos and Ella 
Gregory Sharpe and the widow of Herman R. Bard.
	She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Big Cove Tannery 
and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  
	A son Jerald F. Bard of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren survive her.
	Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, February 26, at 11:00 A.M. 
at the Antioch Christian Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Truax officiating.
	Memorial donations my be made to the International Gideons.
