Harold R. Bard

	Harold R, Bard, son of R. A. and Alberta Mellott Bard, the latter 
preceded him in death seven years ago.
	Harold Bard was born at Pleasant Grove, September 10, 1901 and died 
January 18, 1939.  He was united in marriage with Rhoda M. Garland September 
18, 1920.  To this union five children were born: Heverline, Boyd, Harold, Jr., 
Billie and Wayne.
	The departed came from a family of five, four of whom are still living: 
Mrs. Jobe Hess, Andover, PA.; Andrew Bard, of Quincy, PA.; Mrs. Paul Stepler, 
of St. Thomas, PA.; Marshall W. Bard at home, also his father R. A. Bard and 
step-mother of St. Thomas, PA.
	Funeral services were held by Rev. Gordon of  Fort Loudon, PA. And Rev. 
Light of Lemaster, PA. At his late home in Fort Loudon in the M. E. Church, of 
which he was a member, on Tuesday at 10 o’clock.  Burial was made in St. Thomas 
Cemetery.
