Lee Bard ___________ M. Lee Bard, 76, Harrisonville, died Monday, May 12, 1986 at the Fulton County Medical Center. Born in Pleasant Ridge, PA., Belfast Township, he was the son of the late Oliver and Nettie Mellott Bard. He was employed as a carpenter and a farmer. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmer’s Association. He is survived by his wife, Edna Decker Bard; four daughters: Norma Lee Anderson and Donna Gordon, both of Needmore; Joan Lamberson of York and Patricia Hutchinson of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son: Richard G. Bard of Harrisonville; two sisters: Helen Peters of Stockton, N.J. and Georgia Decker of Harrisonville; three brothers: Michael Bard of Needmore; Frank Bard of Warfordsburg; and Raymond Bard of Philadelphia; two half-brothers: Wayne Bard and Gerald Bard, both of Warfordsburg; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2:PM Thursday, May 15 at the Sidling Hill Christian Church in Needmore. The Rev. William Swope and Rev. Donald Bard officiated. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery. The Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville was in charge of the arrangements. The family requests the omission of flowers.
