All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: David Bard mdb47@frontier.com September 22, 2010, 6:58 am Fulton County Democrat Bard ____ Mrs. Margaret Truax Bard, wife of Michael Bard of Pleasant Ridge died suddenly of heart disease, about 9 o’clock last Saturday morning at the home of Logue Deshong, one mile and a-half distance from the Bard residence, aged 74 years, 11 months and 12 days. Mrs. Bard was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Truax, deceased, and was born and lived all her life in the locality where she died. Her brother Hartman Truax who makes his home with Mr. Deshong has been sick and on the morning of her decease Mrs. Bard had been to see the sick brother. She was a devoted member of the M. E. Church, a good Samaritan in the neighborhood in which she resided and gave to the world a large family of boys and girls such as are the mainstay of our material and moral stability as a nation, twelve of whom survive , as follows: Charles, Ross, Martha, wife of Frank Spade, and Jessie, wife of Levi Mellott, all of Sipes Mill; Henry of Breezewood; C. Albert, Harrisonville; George, Pittsburgh, PA.; Sherman and Oliver, of Pleasant Ridge and Anna, wife of Lewis Kelso, Knobsville. Two brothers also survive - Hartman Truax at Pleasant Ridge and Henry near Needmore. Also 49 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Burial at Ebenezer Monday the 27th inst. Rev. Croft officiating, assisted by Revs. T. P. Garland, john Mellott and E. R. Mellott. D. 2/25/1921 - Fulton County Democrat.
