Hamilton Althea Ruth Hamilton, 78, of Great Cove Road, Fort Littleton, died Thursday morning, Jan. 24, 2002, in Dublin Township, Fulton County. Graveside funeral services were held Jan. 30 at the Upper Path Valley Cemetery, Dry Run, with Pastor George Clippinger officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Born March 10, 1923, at Kistler, she was a daughter of the late Calvin James and Susan E. (Forrester) Shore. Five children survive: Malcolm Hamilton of Hanover, Larry Hamilton of East Berlin, Brian Hamilton of Greencastle, Sioux Fogal of Hustontown and Cindy McNerlin of Mapleton. Thirteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five great- grandchildren also survive. She was also survived by two siblings, Etta Cutshall of Three Springs and Edwin Shore Sr. of Hustontown. Two brothers preceded her in death. She was of the Protestant faith. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing bingo.
