McConnellsburg, 81 
Bernice M. Hollinshead, 81, Fulton County Medical Center’s Skilled Unit, 
McConnellsburg, and formerly of Harrisonville, died at 6:20 p.m., Saturday, 
February 10, 2001 at the Fulton County Medical Center. 
Born in Licking Creek, Fulton County, December 7, 1919, she was the daughter of 
the late David P. and Florence Virginia (Wagner) Bishop. She was a homemaker. 
She was the widow of George T. Hollinshead, who passed away September 16, 1982. 
She was a former member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrisonville. 
She is survived by two daughters: Joyce Shadle, Harrisonville and Ameon Hann, 
McConnellsburg; two sons: Sherwin G. Hollinshead, McConnellsburg and Curtis W. 
Hollinshead, Harrisonville; step-son, Connie V. Hollinshead, Harrisonville; a 
sister, Romaine Bard, McConnellsburg; eight grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren and step-
great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by a step-son, four sisters, a brother and two step-
grandchildren. Services were private and at the convenience of the family.
