Smith Needmore, 64 Grace Gretta Smith, 64, Needmore, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at her home. She was born December 20, 1944, in Big Cove Tannery, the daughter of the late Granville and Annie (Lynch) Brady. She was married to Harry J. Smith on October 25, 1964. She was a seamstress at various companies in the Fulton and Franklin county areas. She also transported children to school for the Southern Fulton School District. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as tending to her flowers. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Harry J. Smith of Needmore; one son, James Kevin (husband of Shannon) Smith of Needmore; one daughter, Melissa K. (wife of John) Schooley, Halifax, Pa.; four grandchildren: Heather Schooley, John Schooley Jr., Ariel Smith and James Kevin Smith Jr.; one brother, Ralph Brady, Mc- Connellsburg; and two sisters: Sylvia DeShong, Big Cove Tannery, and Greathel Black, Big Cove Tannery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Annie Brady; three brothers: Luther, Granville Jr. and Carl Brady; two sisters: Genevieve (Ginny) Seburn and Minnie Mae Brady and one half-brother, Walter Brady. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Kelso- Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg. Interment was at Union Cemetery. Rev. Doug Poffenberger officiated. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Homes, 322 North Second Street, McConnellsburg, handled the arrangements.
