NEEDMORE, Pa. - Anna "Beulah" Strait, 80, of 555 Maple Hollow Lane, died 
Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 25, 1927, in Dutch Corner, Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter 
of the late George Daniel and Goldie Blanche Kelso Mumma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Strait, whom she married 
Feb. 7, 1945. He died June 9, 1977.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Hancock.
She is survived by four daughters, Judy L. Parsons of Hustontown, Pa., Norma J. 
Wertman of McConnellsburg, Pa., Connie M. Burgan of Hancock and Sharon D. 
Knable of Needmore; two sons, Larry G. Strait and Gerald L. Strait, both of 
Needmore; one sister, Betty Anderson of State Line, Pa.; two brothers, Lewis 
Mumma of Hagerstown and Ivan Mumma of McConnellsburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 
and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Georgia Tostown; two brothers, Verlye 
Mumma and Kenneth Mumma; and one granddaughter.
A religious service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral 
Home, McConnellsburg. Pastor Willis Swope will officiate. Burial will be in 
Damascus Christian Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, Pa.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday 
one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 
to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
