Janet J. Swope

	Janet J. Swope, 77, McConnellsburg, died Friday, July 16, 1993 at the 
Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg.
	Born in Sipes Mill, PA., she was the daughter of the late M. Sherman 
and Goldie Pitman Bard.
	Her husband Floyd A. Swope, died in 1982.
	She is survived by five daughters: Freeda Keebaugh and Wilma Sower, 
both of McConnellsburg; Evelyn Clonch of Wichita, KS; Dorothy Royal of Manheim, 
PA. and Iola Ceger of Harrisonville.; six brothers: Cloyd, Donald, Wallace and 
Leo Bard all of Harrisonville;  Warren Swope of McConnellsburg and Willis Swope 
of Hancock; two sisters: Edna Allison of Hobe Sound, Fla. and Faye Bard of 
Pleasant Point, W.Va.; one brother, Durkee Bard of McConnellsburg ; 42 
grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by two daughters , one son, three sisters and 
two brothers.
	Services were held at 10:30 AM Monday, July 19 at the Pleasant ridge 
Church of the Nazarene in Harrisonville.  The Rev. Richard Vandervort and Rev. 
William Swope officiated.  Burial was made in the church cemetery.
	Arrangements were under the direction of the Sipes Funeral Home in 
Harrisonville.

OBIT CORRECTION

In the obituary of Janet Swope appearing in last week’s issue, it should read 
Iola Zeger instead of Ceger.
