(McConnellsburg, Pa.): November 23, 1899 NEW GRENADA. Death has again entered our Valley. Mrs. Truax, wife of the late William Truax, succumbed to the Grim Reaper, on the 14th inst., aged about 75 years. She had been a sufferer for many weeks. She was a consistent member of the church of her choice, (U. B.) for many years. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Roberts, who took his text from Psalms 28:1. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. " She was the mother of eight children, all of whom are living, namely, Levi, Henry, Richard, Joseph and Mrs. Susan Foster, of Enid; Mrs. L. L. Cunningham, of New Grenada; G. Edward, of Wells Tannery, and James, of Mill Creek.
