RILEY E. TRUAX

Riley E. Truax, 72, of R. R. 6, died unexpectedly at 12:15 a.m. today at his 
home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1886 in Fulton County. Mr. Truax had worked at the 
Mercersburg Elevator for a number of years and previously had been employed for 
19½ years at the Carnegie Illinois Steel Company at Clairton, near Pittsburgh.
He attended the Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bertha M. Holtry, R. R. 6; Mrs.
Mary Kazam, Pittsburgh, and Miss Virginia K., at home. By a former marriage he 
is survived by two sons and a daughter, Daniel, Sherman and Mildred, all of 
Oregon. He is also survived by a brother, Lee Truax, Clairton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Lininger funeral home, 
Mercersburg, with the Rev. Roy Gerhold in charge. Burial will be made in 
Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7:30 to 9 o'clock.
