The Fulton County news. (McConnellsburg, Pa.): October 12, 1899
HARRIS0NVILLE.
Mrs. Mary A. Valance, wife of William A. Valance, died Friday evening, of cancer of
the breast, aged 63 years, and a few months. She was a faithful member of the M. E.
church and was fully prepared for that home prepared for her. The remains were
followed by sixty-two vehicles to the M. E. cemetery at Green Hill, Sunday morning,
where a large number of friends and neighbors awaited their arrival. Her pastor,
Rev. Hughes, preached a very appropriate, sermon. She is survived by her husband,
and a large family of grown children.
