The Fulton County news. (McConnellsburg, Pa.): November 23, 1899
Wednesday evening, November 15th, Miss Alice Peffer, daughter of the late Frederick
Peffer, of Tod township, and Mr. George H. Wilson, of Dublin township, were united
in marriage at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage in Hopewell, Bedford county, by
Rev. E. M. Aller, pastor of Hopewell charge. The beautiful and impressive ceremony
of the M. E. church was used, after which a bountiful wedding supper, prepared by
Mrs. E. M. Aller, sister of the bride, was served in the dining room. On Friday the
happy couple returned to the home of the groom, near Fort Littleton, where a number
of invited guests awaited them. Here another sumptuous repast was served and a
delightful evening was spent. The bride and groom were the recipients of many
valuable and useful presents. Their many friends wish them a long and prosperous
voyage through life.
