The Fulton County news, McConnellsburg, Pa. October 12, 1899
Jacob Hess and Miss Elizabeth Pittman, both of Thompson Township, were married by
Elder Funk on Monday of last week. Jake has ever had the slightest fear of Mauser
rifles nor Indian scalping knives, but at last he has allowed himself to be captured
by a harmless maiden. Well, we wish them both a long and happy married life.
