We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ James Hollingshead Jr.'s will was written 1860 and proved 1872 Fulton County Willbook 1, page 328: Will of James Hollingshead Jr. deceased In the name of God Amen, I, James Hollanshead of Belfast township Fulton County State of PA Being weak in Body but haveing a soundness of mind when I make this my last will and testament 1st I comit my sole to god who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner Nothing douting but I shall receive the same at the day of the reserection 2nd and as for my worldley Property I despose of as folows vis it is my will that my wife shall have all my property rail and parcenely in her case and custady so long as she remains my widow after paying all my lawful debts and funeral expences and after the deth or marage of my wife it is my wil that my property shall be sold at public sale and devided Equil amongst my children. I apoint Isaac hollenshead and thomas truax my Executors to Execute this my last will and testament in witnes whereof i publish sign and deliver on this twenty six day of June AD 1860 in the presence of these witnesses Witness Present Jeremiah Mellott Henry truax {signed} James Hollenshead Sworn & Subscribed before me April 12" A.D. 1872, R.A. McDonald, Register {signed} Henry truax Also, on the same day, and at the same time, before me, personally came, Isaac Mellott, who being duly qualified according to law did depose and say that he is well acquainted with the handwriting of Jeremiah Mellott, one of the subscribing witnesses to the instrument of writing hereto attached purporting to be the last will and testament of James Hollenshead, late of Belfast Township, dec'd, from having frequently seen him write, that his Signature thereto is genuine.
