J.S. 1799; Photo of the tombstone of Elizabeth Swon/Swan located in a private cemetery known as the Swan Cemetery which is located South East of Rice's Landing on the east side of Neff Road in a field on land originally owned by John Swan. The cemetery is between a quarter and half mile south of the north end of Neff road and east up a lane into a field to a grove of trees to the left. The cemetery is surrounded and filled with brush & trees. The cemetery is unmarked and took a lot of searching to locate when it was visited on 18 June 2003. Some grave stones have been lost to the ravages of time but one of the earlier burials is Elizabeth Swon/Swan in 1805. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Photo has been resized/compressed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Project ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
