Deed Book 16, page 93 J.C.G. Black to John Donham THIS INDENTURE, Made the day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight, Between J.C.G. Black & Nancy his wife of Greensboro Greene County, & State of Pennsylvania, of the first part and John Donham of the County and State aforesaid of the second part. WITNESSETH that the said part of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three thousand four hundred thirty three dollars and seventy five cents lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before, sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien,enfeoff, release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that certain tract of land situate in Monongahela Township, COUNTY of GREENE aforesaid. bounded and described as follows, to wit: Beginning at a stake in the "Dunkard Road" on the line between said Tract of Land and the land of William Casemand thence south 36° East 14 perches to a post thence south 1° W. 33 perches to a post by land of Edward Cleavenger thence 67° West 13.6 perches thence south 37° E. 47 perches to a post by a linntree thence by land of Joseph Province S. 84° W. 88 perches to a post by a W.O. thence S. 36° W. 82 perches by land of said Donham to a post by a W.O. thence North 42 3/4° W. 54.2 to a stake in road thence North by land of F. Reitz 43 3/4° E. 110 perches to a post in the road; thence North 25 1/4° W. 24 1/2 perches, thence North 8 1/4° East 10 perches thence North 87° E. 14 1/2 perches thence North 81 1/2° E. 44 perches, thence North 80° 3/4 E. 24.8 perches to the place of Beginning, containing sixty eight Acres and one hundred and eight perches with an allowance of six per cent. TOGETHER WITH ALL AND SINGULAR the lands improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profit thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property claim and demand whatsoever of the said part of the first part in law, equity or otherwise, howsoever of, in and to the same and every part thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Tract of sixty eight acres and one hundred and eight perches of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said J.C.G. Black & Nancy his wife the said parties of the first part, their heirs executors and administrators, do by these presents covenant, grant, and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtanences unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part& their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.SHALL AND WILL WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND. Stone GREENE COUNTY SS On the fourth day of December Anno Domini 1858 before me, the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County came the above named J.C.G. Black & Nancy his wife and acknowledged above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same might be recorded as such. She the said Nancy Black, being of full age and by me examined seperate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her declared that she did of her own free will and accord, sign and seal, and as her act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
