Deed Book 7, page 24 Deed from David Dunham to Peter Hartley, Joseph Boon & Job S. Dunham This Indenture made this third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty nine. Between David Dunham of Greene County & State of Pennsylvania of the one part & Peter Hartley, Joseph Boon & Job S. Dunham of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. WITNESSETH that the aforesaid David Dunham for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained & sold unto the aforesaid Peter Hartley & Joseph Boon & Job S. Dunham their heirs and assigns part of a tract of land patented unto George Debolt the 25th day of October 1737 part of which was conveyed to unto William Gapen, by George Debolt June 16th 1806 part of which was conveyed to John Herrington on the 5th day of July 1808 & ___ conveyed by John Herrington to Thomas Campbell on the 30th day of October, 1810 and conveyed by Thomas Campbell to David Dunham on the 10th day of April 1812, the Deed recorded in the Recorders Office in Greene County in Book B, Vol. 1, pages 632 & 633. The said part or parcel of land bounded as follows, viz: Beginning at a post on the great road from Mapletown to Greensburg at the corner of Lewis Dunhams land thence along the said great road North Eighty-six and one half degrees West Eighteen perches to a post, thence along an alley South one degree West eighteen perches to a post, thence by land of the heirs of William Tanner South Eighty-six and one half degrees East to a post eighteen perches, thence by land of Lewis Dunham, North one degree East eighteen perches to a post at the place of Beginning, Containing two acres strict measure. The aforesaid David Dunham doth by these presents hereby convey & confirm unto the aforesaid Peter Hartley, Joseph Boon & Job S. Dunham their heirs & assigns the before described two acres of land with all the appurtainces thereunto belonging & shall & will the same unto them foreverwarrant and defend. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the date above written.
