Deed Book 3, page 328 Greene County, PA George Debolt to Lewis Dunham This Indenture made the 29th day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and fifteen, between George Debolt & Ann his wife of Greene County & State of Pennsylvania of the one part and Lewis Donham of the County & State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the Sum of thirty Dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted & sold and by these presents do grant, sell, bargain, alien & confirm unto the said Lewis Donham, his heirs & assigns forever a certain tract of land containing three Lots numbered nine, ten and eleven, being situated and bounded as follows viz: Beginning at a Post, thence along the main road, leading to Greensburgh, North eighty nine degrees & one half East East thirteen perches & five tenths to a Post, thence along an alley ten feet wide, North one half degree West four perches & five tenths to a Post, thence by Stephen Stones Lot, South one half degree East four perches & five tenths to the place of Beginning, containing sixty six perches & three fourths of a perch of land called Mechanics square. Now we George Debolt and Ann Debolt for ourselves, our heirs, Executors & assigns against any person or persons whatsoever unto the said Lewis Donham, his heirs or assigns the afore described Lots in the aforesaid Mechanics square with all its appurtenances shall & will warrant and forever defend. Black Sarah Debolt her mark Greene County SS Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Personally came before me, the subscriber, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid George Debolt & Ann Debolt his wife & acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act & deed for the use therein mentioned & desired that the same should be committed to record as such.
