Deed Book 5, page 418 Greene County, PA George Debolt to Job Donham This Indenture made the Tenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty five, Between George Debolt and Anne his wife of the one part and Job Donham of the other part, all of Monongahela township, Greene County & Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Witnesseth, That the said George Debolt and Anne his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirteen Dollars, to them in hand paid, the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted and by these presents doth bargain, grant, sell and convey unto the said Job Donham his heirs, or assigns, One certain Lot of Ground, being Number Six in a plot of eight Lots, taken from George Debolts Plantation and called "Mechanics Square" being situated as Follows viz: beginning at a post corner of No 5. Thence along the main road leading to Greensburgh South eighty six and a half degrees east four perches and five links, to a post. thence along lot No 1. North three and a half degrees West four perches and five links to a post. thence along an alley Ten feet wide, North eighty six and a half degrees West four perches and five Links to a post corner of Lot No 5 thence along sd Lot No 5 South three and a half degrees West four perches and five Links to the place of Beginning, Containing twenty perches and one quarter of a perch. Now We the said George Debolt and Anne his Wife, unto the said Job Donham, do warrant and defend the Title of the before Described Lot of Ground Forever Free from all Incumberances, or persons, or claims whatever. In testimony whereof we have here unto set our Hands & Seals the date above written. George Debolt Anne Debolt her mark Signed in presence of A. Stone, George Debolt Junr. Greene County, Pa SS Personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the county aforesaid the within named George Debolt & Anne his Wife, and acknowledged the within Indenture to be their act & deed for the purpose therein mentioned, the the said Anne having been examined as the Law directs.
