Deed Book 1 Page 84 shows bill of sale of Aaron Jenkins to Samuel Hyde & 
recites that Aaron Jenkins of Washington Co Pa (this was before Greene Co was 
formed) for £300 pd in gold & silver by Sam'l Hyde of sd state & Co sells the 
parcel of land that Jenkins bought of Thomas Provence on West side of Monon 
River & joining on Big Whiteley Creek from the mouth up sd creek to James 
Bellshe's line & John Long's lines.  Dated July 26, 1783 signed Aaron 
Jenkins.  Witnessed by James Carmichael & Robert Hamilton. Ackd in Greene Co 
Pa Mch 27, 1797 by Aaron Jenkins Senr before John Badolett Associate Judge & 
Recorded Apr 3, 1797 by John Boreman, Recorder
