Deed Book 20, page 363 Deed Jesse Johns to Isaac Mosburg This Indenture made this Sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty seven between Jesse Johns of Perry township Greene County and state of Pennsylvania and Amelia his wife of the one part and Isaac Mosburg of the county and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jesse Johns and Amelia his wife for and in conseideration of the Sum of One hundred and five dollars to them in hand paid by the said Isaac Mosburg at and before the Ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Isaac Mosburg his heirs Executors and Administrators by these presents have granted bargained sold and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Isaac Mosburg his heirs and assigns one house and lot in the town of Newberg situated in Dunkard township Greene County and State aforesaid being ? in plot of said town bounded as follows. Beginning at a stone and thence by lot No two North Seventy nine degrees West ten perches to a stone at Main Street. thence by the street North Eleven degrees East four perches to a stone at the Alley. thence with the Alley South seventy nine degrees East ten perches to a Stone. thence by lands of James McCallum South Eleven degrees West four perches to the Beginning. Containing forty perches of land be the same more or less Togehter with all and singular the heraitaments ? and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the ? and remainders rents ? and profits thereof and also all the Estate equity title interest and demand whatsoever of them the said Jesse Johns and Amelia his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same. To have and to hold the said lot of forty perches land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Isaac Mosburg his heirs and assigns to there only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Isaac Mosburg his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Jesse johns and Amelia his wife doth hereby covenant and agree to warrent and defend the above described lot of ground unto the said Isaac Mosburg his heirs and assigns forever against all legal claims. Billingsley Elsey Deen Greene County SS The 6 day of June in the year 1857 personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid the above named Jesse Johns and Amelia his wife and acknowledged the above written Indenture to be their and Each of their act and deed and desired the same might be recorded according to law. She the said Amelia being of lawful age seperate and apart from her said husband by me examined and the full content of the said Indenture unto her made known wherefore she did declare that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign seal and as her act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband whatsoever.
