Deed Book 302, page 271 I.N. & Anna Belle Mossburg to Harry Ray Mossburg THIS INDENTURE MADE THE fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen ( 1914). BETWEEN I.N. Mossburg and Anna Belle Mossburg, his wife, of Dunkard Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, parties of the first part AND Harry Ray Mossburg, of the said township, party of the second part. WITNESSETH, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred twelve ( 212.00) dollars, lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,have remised, released and quit claimed, and by these presents do remise, release, and forever quit-claim unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All the undivided one third ( 1/3) part of all those three several pieces or parcels of land, situated in the said township of Dunkard, bounded and described as follows: 1. On the north by lands of Joseph R. Donley On the east by lands formerly of Amos Brewer On the south by lands of James W. Donley and On the west by lands of said James W. Donley containing nine acres, more or less. 2.A certain House and Lot situated in the village of Newburgh in said township of Dunkard, being Lot No. 3 in the Plat of said village, bounded and further described as follows, to wit: beginning at a stone, thence by Lot No. 2, north seventy-nine (79°) degrees west ten ( 10) perches to a stone at Main Street; thence by said Street north eleven ( 11°) degrees east four ( 4) perches to a stone at the alley; thence with the said alley, south seventy nine (79°) degrees east, ten (10) perches to a stone; thence by land of James McCollum, south eleven (11) degrees west, four (4) perches to the beginning and containing forty (40) perches more or less. 3. A Lot or parcel of Land situate in the said village of Newburgh in the said township of Dunkard, being Lot No. 4 in the plan of said town, bounded on the north by Lot No.5, on the east by lands formerly of Amos Brewer; on the south bu an Alley which seperates it from Lot No 3; and on the west by Main Street; containing Forty (40) Perches be the same more or less. Excepting, However, all the Pittsburgh or river vein or seam of coal within and underlying the three above described peices or parcels of land, together with certain mining rights as heretofore sold and conveyed to by deed dated the day of A.D. by Isaac Mossburgh and Charlotte Mossburg his wife former owners. Excepting also, all the Mapletown vein or seam of coal within and underlying the first above described piece of land, together with the mining rights, as heretofore sold and conveyed by the said Isaac Mossburg and wife, former owners. The three above described pieces, or parcels of land being the same of which Isaac Mossburg, in his lifetime, became lawfully seised in his demesne as of fee, and being so thereeof seised, died intestate, leaving to survive him three children, to wit the said I.N. Mossburg, the said Harry Ray Mossburg, and George Mossburg, to whom the same by laws of Pennsylvania relating to intestate, did descend and come. TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances, to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and also, all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever, both in law and equity of the said parties of the first part, of, in, into or out of the said premises and every part and parcel thereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises,with all and singular apputrenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. I.N. Mossburg Bell Mossburg SEALED AND DELIVERED IN THE PRESENCES OF RECIEVED the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above named Harry Ray Mossburg the sum of Two Hundred twelve (212.00) Dollars, lawful money of the United States, being the consideration money above mentioned in full. Mossburg and Belle Mossburg, his wife who in due form of law acknowledged the foregoing indenture to be their act and deed, and desired the same to be recorded as such.
