Article of Agreement between
J.P. Myers, Timothy Taylor &
Shadlock Negus.

This agreement made the 12th day of October in the year 1830 between Joseph Myers
of Greene Township of the one part & Timothy Taylor of Cumberland Township &
Shadlock Negus of Greene Township of the other part. WITNESSETH that the said 
Joseph Myers doth sell unto the said Timothy Taylor & Shadlock Negus the lot or
piece of land where the said Timothy Taylor now resides with all the appurtennes
thereunto belonging for the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid, it
being a piece of land which the said Job <sic> Myers bought of Roger M. Hartly
and which contains seventy three acres more or less: and the said Job Myers
binds himself, his heirs Executors and Administrators or assigns to make the
aforesaid Taylor & Negus a Deed on or before the 20th of this month & the
aforesaid Taylor & Negus is to have possession of the said land on the 15th of
this month. As witness my hand and seal the day and year above written.
