(Waynesburg, Pa.) 185?-1867: May 09, 1866 Died at Mr. Phillip Minor’s, on the 31st of March, Mr. Benjamin Ramer, member of the 7th Va Vols. Having completed a three year term of service, he returned from the Army of the Potomac with impaired health to die among his friends. Beside himself, Mr. Ramer had two sons in the service: Jacob, who was captured and perished at Salisbury, N. C., and Noah M., of the 85th Pa. Regiment, who is the only surviving son.
