It is identified by a sign that hangs during the warm weather months. It is sometimes referred to as the "Old" Rogersville Cemetery, since the town's much larger Rosemont Cemtery, on the eastern end of Rogersville, is still in use today. Tombstone transcription written by Brad Jarvis, who performed a digital photographic survey and inventory of the cemetery on March 1, 2007. At times the author utilized, as a reference, Cemetery Records of Greene County, Volume 2, pages 80-81, by Dorothy Hennen. This volume can be found at the Cornerstone Genealogical Society, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hennen's transcription took place July 2, 1967. DIRECTIONS TO THE CEMETERY: 1) From Waynesburg, follow Route 21 West (West Roy Furman Highway) for approximately 7 miles to reach Rogersville. 2) Rosemont Cemetery will be on your right just before you enter the town. 3) Rogersville Cemetery is located on the western end of town, right along Route 21 in a sharp left hand turn, across the road from the Christian Church.
