The funeral of Abner Mundell, a former Greene countian who died in Washington Wednesday night, November 21, was held in that city Friday afternoon with the interment in the Washington cemetery. Mr Mundell was aged 81 years. He is survived by his wife, who is a daughter of the late Lewis Dowlin, and one granddaughter, Margaret Mundell, and also three sisters: Mrs. A. J. Waychoff, of Waynesburg; Mrs. Mary South, of Uniontown, and Mrs. Lyda Grove, of Miller, Mo. (The year of death was 1923. Mrs. Mary South should have read as Mrs. Margaret (or Mag) South, Mrs. Lyda Grove's full name was Mrs. Eliza Jane Mundell Grove.)
