We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ The will of Richard Ivers (Will Book I, p 53, probated 5/19/1806) reads as follows: In the name of God, Amen, I, Richard Ivers of Washington County and state of Pennsylvania being weak in body, but of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following; First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Ivers one third of all my real and personal property during her life, Secondly, I do also give and bequeath to my eldest son John Ivers the sum of fifteen shillings; I do also give and bequeath to my son Richard Ivers the sum of five shillings, I do also bequeath unto my five daughters Jane Bosher, Mary Long, Elizabeth Truelock, Sarah Woods, and Ann Steel, the sum of five shillings each, which said several legacies or sums of money I will and order shall be paid to the said respective legatees within one year after my decease; I do also give and bequeath unto my son William Ivers all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal estate where I now live containing seventy four acres of land be there more or less; and lastly I give and bequeath to my son William Ivers all the rest of all my real and personal estate of what kind and nature soever. I give and bequeath to my son William Ivers, who I hereby appoint sole Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety three.
