We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ The will of Andrew McClelland (no. 280) is as follows: In the name of God Amen, I Andrew McClelland of Cumberland Township in Greene County in the state of Pennsylvania being in health of body and of sound mind and disposing memory and judgement thanks to Almighty God for his mercies to me and calling to mind that is appointed for all men to die do make and orgdain my Testament and last Will in manner and form following, that is to say, I will and order all my just debts to be paid out of my estate. I will and order that the plantation and tract of land of which I am possessed in Cumberland township be equally divided (escepting as is herinafter excepted) between my six sons viz. Robert, James, John, Andrew, William and Francis McClelland, said division to be made one year after the decease of my wife, Margaret in case she shall survive me either by making sale of said plantation or dividing it among the legatees as they shall in I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Margaret one third of the personal property of which I shall be possessed at my decease. Together with one third of the rent of the aforesaid six sons and I do allow said property to be appraised in one month after my decease or sooner if convenient; I will and bequath to my aforesaid son Robert McClelland twenty five pounds to be paid by my executors in eighteen months after my wife's decease in case she shall survive me. I will and bequeath to my daughters Hannah Flenniken and Mary Flenniken five pounds apiece to be paid in eighteen months after my wife's decease; The aforesaid bequests viz twenty five pounds to my son Robert and five pounds to each of my two daughters as before mentioned I allow to be taken out of my estate before it is generally divided among the aforesaid legatees; and I do constitute and appoint my sons Robert and James McClelland Executors of this my testament and last Will revolking and anulling all Wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affized my seal the seventh day of Nobember in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five. Personally came William Miller and Robert Lewis Esquire subscribing witnesses to the within will and on their solem oaths and affirmations did despose and say that they wore present and saw and heard Andrew McClelland the Testator within named sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the same as and for his last Will and testament, and that at the time of his doing thereof he was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief.
