I George Miller, of Whitley Township Greene County, State of Pennsylvania, do ordain and make this my last will and testament. I will that my mortal soul return to God who gave it and my body to the dust from whence it came; that my burial be plain and decent, without pomp or pride. Item 1st. I will and devise that all my just debts be paid. Item 2nd. I will and devise to my son Peter Miller one hundred dollars to be paid to him twelve months after my decease or as soon thereafter as the said one hundred dollars can be made out of my real and personal estate. Item 3rd. I will and devise to my son William Miller one hundred dollars to be paid to him twelve months after my decease, or as soon thereafter as the said one hundred dollars can be made out of my personal and real estate. item 4th. I will and devise to my son George Miller fifty dollars to be paid to him in twelve months aafter my decease or as soon thereafter as the money can be made out of my real and personal estate. Item 5th. I will and devise to my son William Miller's son Lewis my brass clock. item 6th. I will and devise to my son William's daughter Catherine my feather bed. Item 7th. I will and bequeath all my residu and remainder of my real and personal estate to my daughters Margaret Renner, Elizabeth Shultz, Catherine Haines, Mary Phillips, Susannah Rose, and Sarah Calvert, to be equally divided amongst them, and lastly I constitute my loving son William Miller and my friend and neighbor, Joab Bailey my executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven. s/George Miller Additional Comments: George & Catherine (Weir) & family came to Green County in 1797 from Frederick Maryland, settling on a 400 acre plot in Whitley Twp. they called "Falsehood" Catherine died in 1813 and George in 1839.
