Written Sept. 1, 1854 In the name of God amen. I, John Rinehart, of Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pa., do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, I commend my soul to God who gave it. Second, I will all my present Debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my death as convenient. Third, I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife all my Real and Personal Estate so long as she remains my widow. Fourth, I also will that my Real and Personal property be appraised and sold at the death of my widow and divided as follows: to my sons Thomas, Hiram, Pressly, Joseph, Jesse, William, and Arthur equal and alike to them severeally, Pressly's share to be laid out by the executors for a piece of land for him to live on and if he dies without heirs to return back to the rest - the six sons and their heirs equal forever. Fifthly I will that my daughters, Nancy, Olive Or Ollive, Matilda, Hannah, Emmaline and Margaret to have twenty five dollars each of them to be paid by the sons, severally and alike. Lastly I do hereby nominate, constitue, and appoint Thomas Lucas, Jr., Thomas Rinehart, and Arthur A. Rinehart, Executors of this my last will and Testament, revoking all former wills. This first day of September, one Thousand Eight hundred and firty-four. his mark John X Reinhart (seal) Witnesses: John D. Whiteaker Lewis W. Jennings Pennsylvania Greene County, DD To Justus F. Temple, Esq., Register (sic) for the said County of Greene. I David A. Worley Prothonotary of the Court of Common PLeas of said County do hereby certify that the forgoing issue...........(blank) cause on for trial in our said Court and that the same resulted in a verdict for the Plaintiffs. That judgement was duly entered upon the said verdict wherefore the proceedings were reversed by Writ of Error to the Supreme Court of this Commonwealth wherefor (as appears by the certificate of the Prothonotary of said Court this day filed. It was adjudged the said Judgement of our Common Pleas should be affirmed all of which appears of record. Witness my name and the seal of said Court this first day of December A.D. 1857. Donald A. Henry Vandruff and John Porter were intermarried with the daughters of John Rinehart, the deceased.
