Will book A, page 273, #505 In the name of God, Amen, I Isaac Roberts of Centre Township in Greene County and the State of Pennsylvania being weak in body, but of a sound and disposing mind and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have the Capasity (sic) to do so, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revokeing (sic) all other wills heretofore made by me and hereby Establishing this my last will and testament- - and first and principly (sic) I commit my soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came. 2nd as to such wordly estate whare (sic) It has pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of as follows viz. 1st I will that all my Just debts as shall be by me owing at my death together with my funeral Expences (sic) and all charges touching the proving of this my last will and testament shall be fully paid and satisfyd (sic), and 2nd I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hulda all my Real and personal Estate untill (sic) my youngest son Samuel Roberts shall (if he lives) be twenty one years of age to have the intire (sic) Controle (sic) and management of the same in order to inable (sic) her to Rais (sic) and keep together my Children which will be twenty years and four months from the date hereof. And 3rdly I will and bequeath unto my two sons Obed and Samuel Roberts all my Real Estate (including all my mills) accepting (sic) only the two Stills which I wish to be considered as moveable property to Come into the possession of the same when my youngest son Samuel shall Come of age. Still reserving unto my belovd (sic) wife Hulda a Resedance (sic) on the place and each of the sons to pay thair (sic) mother anually (sic) twenty dollars for her support from the time they Come into possession of thair (sic) share of the Estate during her natural life the Real Estate to be divided by the boys if they can agree if not they are to Choose three Judicious disinterested men to divide it for them as equally as they possably (sic) Can and if they Cannot agree on the Choice of Shares to both thair (sic) satisfaction then the oldest to have his Choice. And 4th I will and bequeath unto my three daughters, Abigal, Ruth and Rebeckah two hundred dollar to each of them to be on interest from the date herof (sic) to be paid to them out of the money that is owing to me and what I have now in possession to be paid unto them by my Executors herin (sic) after mentioned when they come to the age of twenty one years or when they or either of them shall get married. And 5th I will that in order to prevent any lawsuits Respecting the division of the estate or the execution of this my last will and testament or with the Executors the parties shall Choose three or five disinterested men to have thair (sic) dispute to whose judgment thareon (sic) shall be final any of the legatees attempting to violate this Clause of this my last will and testament shall thareby (sic) forfit (sic) all thare (sic) Right and intrust in this my estate and also the Executors shall not appeal from the Judgment of the aforesaid three or five men. 6th and lastly I do hereby appoint my beloved wife Hulda Roberts and Jonathan Parkinson my Executors to execute this my last will and testament in testimony whareof (sic) I have here unto set my hand & seal this thirtieth day of May A.D. in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five. Attest - John McGlumphy Isaac Roberts Aaron Wright Elijah Kinney On August 22, 1825, John McGlumphy and Elijah Kinney came to the Register of Wills and swore they saw Isaac Roberts sign and that he was of sound mind. Also that they saw Aaron Wright sign as witness. Will was registered August 22, 1825, and Letters Testamentary granted to Hulda Roberts & Jonathan Parkinson
