ROBERT R. CROYLE Shirleysburg, Pa. It is with pleasure to note the achievement of Rev. Robert H. Croyle. A young man in the ministry and one who is bound to achieve success in his calling. A noble profession and one which requires tact and perseverance, these are the qualities he possesses. Mr. Croyle was born at Ramey, Clearfield County, Pa., March 2, 1903, and at Ramey commenced his educational career in the public schools. His father was James Henry Croyle, who married Laura Elizabeth Beyer, of Scotch-German descent. Both are living. The Rev. Croyle acted for a time as a supply teacher at the Ramey High School, and early in life commenced to study for the ministry. Was a graduate of Dickinson Seminary in 1923; now attending Juniata College; he was in the employ of the Bulah Shart Coal Company and for four years was a Highway Engineer, stationed at Bedford, Pa. Belongs to the Masonic body, Blue Lodge No. 515, Osceola Mills, Pa. In politics a Republican; has one brother, George A., a mechanic at Altoona. Three sisters. Virginia M., married to James H. Alsopp, Ramey, Pa.; Kathleen, at Philadelphia, Pa.; B. Mildred, at Harrisburg, Pa. At present he supplies the Shirleysburg and Singers Gap charges. He has been successful, and is well liked by his members, who are devoted to him.
