Foreman: Born at Saltillo, Pa., February 3, 1898. He received his first schooling at the Saltillo Grade Schools. A son of Oscar Drake, who was a sawyer and followed up the lumber business; died at the age of sixty years. His mother is Annie (Powell) Drake, now living at Saltillo, Huntingdon County, Pa. Raymond Drake began with the East Broad Top R.R. as a trackman; has been with the company for fifteen years; has been a foreman for one and a half years; has the care and maintenance of seven miles of trackage. During the World War was with the East Broad Top R.R. He votes the Republican ticket. Has two brothers: Newton, at home; also Albert. Two sisters: Elinor, married to William Shue, a farmer of Clay township; Emily, married to Howard Hershey; they live at Saltillo, Huntingdon County, Pa. Raymond Drake was married to Lillian Watkins, a daughter of Morgan and Ettie Watkins; they reside at Saltillo, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Drake have four sons: Oscar, eleven years; Ned, nine years; Harry, seven years; these three attend school; also George, aged one and half years. Their home is at Shirleysburg, Pa.
