HENRIETTA FOREMAN Hopewell Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. Service Station: Mrs. Henrietta Foreman was born at Russellville, Huntingdon Co., Pa. A daughter of John H. Foreman, who died March 22, 1892, aged sixty-one years. He was a Civil War veteran, Company D, 91st Regiment, Pa. Vol. Inf. Practically all his life was spent on the farm. His wife died April 5, 1900, aged sixty-eight years. Mrs. Henrietta Foreman attended what was known as the Cherrytown school. She was married to David R. Foreman. He died suddenly in 1920, aged sixty-three years. In 1913 she established a service station; also confectionery, ice cream, etc. Mrs. Foreman has been a member of the Reformed Church since the age of sixteen years; also her husband, now deceased. Two brothers: Theobald, married to Anna Myers; John B., married to Charlotte Dorman; Jacob, who died in 1900. Dorsey, two and one half years of age, died from choking on a bean. Sisters are Caroline, married to Charles Dorman, deceased; was a Civil War veteran; Mary Elizabeth, married to George Brumbaugh, formerly in business; Ruth H., married to John Dorman, deceased, she residing in Ohio. Susan, married to James Moore, deceased; Rachel M., married to Robert Hood, Grafton, Huntingdon County, Pa., Mrs. Forman has the respect of a host of friends, and through meeting many tourists and transient trade, is well known far and wide.
