RALPH ROGERS FOURACRE Petersburg, Pa. Instructor: Stepping up all along the line, going forward, that's the aim and desire of Prof. Ralph Rogers Fouracre, one of Petersburg's educators. The Prof. was born at Middletown, Delaware, December 13, 1902. A son of Thomas S. Fouracre, of Middletown, Delaware, Ex-State Treasurer of Delaware, 1922 to 1926; an editor and newspaper owner. His mother, Clara M. Fouracre,. Both parents living at Middletown, Delaware. He began his early training at Middletown Academy; graduated in 1921. Graduated at Pennsylvania State College in 1927. Has been teaching in the Petersburg Community Vocational and Consolidated Schools since 1927. Is Supervisor of Vocational Agriculture. A member of the Crever Memorial Episcopal Church, Petersburg, Pa. Teaches boys' Sunday School class. Votes the Republican ticket. Track and cross country hikes are his diversion. Three sisters: Mrs. F. Van Lear Turner, Merchantville, New Jersey; Mrs. J. W. Jones, Montclair, New Jersey; Mabel Fouracre, Middletown, Delaware, and A. C. Fouracre, Middletowon, Delaware. Married June 18, 1927, to Esther McDowell, daughter of Rev. E. W. McDowell, Wilmington, Delaware. One daughter, Jane Elizabeth. Fraternities consist of member of Veteran Athletes, Philadelphia, Pa. (Sigma Pi), Skull and Bones, Druid (Gamma Sigma Delta). (Honorary Ag. Fraternity), Shannahan Club of Philadelphia, Pa., and Penn State Grange. A professor with a brilliant future.
