HARRY F. HANEY, A.B. Orbisonia, Pa. Instructor: Harry F. Haney was born at Spring Mills, Centre County, Pa., August 14, 1907. Began his early schooling at Spring Mills. Moved on farm at age of seven years, where he stayed until the age of seventeen years. He is a son of William H. Haney, who was a school teacher for fifteen years; is now a milk inspector at Rising Sun, Maryland, for Sheffield Farms. William H. Haney married Elsie C. Finkle. Prof. Harry F. Haney graduated at Susquehanna University, receiving the degree of A.B. in 1928. He has taught school two years at the Orbisonia-Rockhill Furnace Consolidated High School. Previously was a salesman for the Donald Brush Co., Selingsgrove, Pa. Both he and his wife are members of the Methodist church and pupils in the Sunday School. A Republican in politics. He was married to Ethel B. Everett, daughter of Harry and Jennie Everett, a ticket agent for the P.R.R. at Shamokin, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Haney have one son, Donald Robert, born in July, 1929. Prof. Haney has been very successful along his chosen profession. Lives at Orbisonia, in a beautiful home which is neatly arranged. He has been re-appointed for the school session of 1930.
