Cleaning and Pressing: Born at 1522 Washington Street, Huntingdon, Pa., a son of John V. and Minnie (Young) Isenberg, both residing on a farm in Porter Township, Huntingdon County, Pa. Clair Wayne Isenberg began his schooling at Warrior Ridge, called the Ridge school, in Porter Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. He was raised on a farm, where he stayed until he was twenty-two years of age. He taught school for nine years, having a permanent certificate; taught school one year at Centre Union; five years at Ridge school in Porter township; one year at Cherrytown, Huntingdon County, Pa.; one year at Union Furnace, and one year at Upper Corner school, near Hesston, Pa. At present he is engaged in the cleaning and pressing business; has been for two years. Through attention to business he has built up a large and fast increasing business. Clair Wayne Isenberg is a graduate of the Juniata Business College, Class of 1915. During the World War he was teaching school. He is a Republican. He has two brothers: Norman, married to Ethel Bilger; he is a truck driver for Benson Brothers; Roy at home, on farm; one brother deceased; died at the age of twenty-one years. Clair Wayne Isenberg was married to Edna Gahagan, a daughter of Thomas Gahagan; they have one daughter, Thelma Marie, who is two and one- half years of age. Mr. Isenberg caters to a large class of people. He delights in a game of baseball. Both he and his wife are members of the Reformed Church at Alexandria, Pa.
