ISENBERG Huntingdon, Pa. Blacksmith and Wagonmaker: Born in Porter Township, March 1, 1876, a son of Menesseh Isenberg, who was born in Alexandria, Pa., July 27, 1847. He was son of Mr. and Mrs. John Isenberg. He was a blacksmith; was born in 1807, and died in 1885. Menasseh Isenberg was married July 25, 1867, to Mary C. Larkins, of Barree township, Huntingdon County, Pa. He was a blacksmith for fifty-two years, and died in 1918 at the age of seventy-two years. His wife died in 1922 at the age of seventy-seven years. John H. Isenberg attended the Loop school in Porter township. He has been a blacksmith and wagonmaker from maturity. He established his present business eleven years ago. He is a member of the Methodist church; his wife is also a member of this church. He belongs to he Knights of Pythias, Jr. O.U.A.M., the Knights of Malta, all of Huntingdon, Pa., and votes the Republican ticket. He has one brother, Charles, of Altoona, Pa., with P.R.R.; one brother deceased, George, who died at the age of forty years. Two sisters, Rebecca, married to Irwin Leiper, of Petersburg, Pa.; she is deceased; Rhoda was married to Charles Crawell, of Altoona, Pa. Sisters deceased are: Anna, who died in infancy; Norah, who died at he age of eighteen, and Blanche, who died at he age of forty-two years. John H. Isenberg was married to Mary Gordon, a daughter of Daniel and Mary Elizabeth Gordon; both are deceased. The sons and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Isenberg are as follows: Donald G., at home, with C. H. Miller Hardware Company at Huntingdon, and a graduate of the Huntingdon High School; Robert J. assists his father in business during school intermission; he is a Junior at Huntingdon High School; Ralph C., at school, is sixteen years of age, a Junior at High School; Richard M., eight years of age, in grade school; one daughter, Karhryn, a graduate of the Huntingdon High School; graduated at the age of sixteen years; is with Swigart-Harshbarger Insurance Company, Huntingdon, Pa.
