ISENBERG Alexandria, Pa. Tonsorial Artist: Born at Alexandria, Pa., April 3, 1892. A son of William V. Isenberg and Laura (White) Isenberg, both residing at Alexandria, Pa., having been residents of Alexandria for years. Rash Isenberg has been a barber for 18 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 2, 1918; sent to Camp Lee, Virginia; assigned to the 315th Field Artillery Headquarters Co., under Captain Revel, a standing army officer; trained at Camp Lee, Virginia, until May 26, 1918; boarded boat at Norfolk, Virginia, vessel named (Tennidorse); landed at Bordeaux, France, June 10; was a rest camp for two weeks; moved to town named Redon, France; there until September 1st; then to Vannes, an artillery training camp, and on September 26, 1918, entered Meuse-Argonne engagement; served in different engagements till November 1, 1918, and was then used in backing up different divisions until the Armistice was signed; was at Mousay until December 21, 1918; thence to Raviers until April 1, 1919; then to Vernil, France, until May 1, 1919; homeward bound to Brest; boarded the steamship (Zeppelin); on May 17, 1919, at Newport News, Virginia; was at Camp Stewart for a few days and sent to Camp Lee, until June 10, 1919, was discharged. He is a member of the Masonic Fraternity, Mount Moriah, No. 300, Free and Accepted Masons, Huntingdon, Pa.; P.O.S. of A., No. 699, of Alexandria, Pa.; L.O.O.M., No. 223, Huntingdon, Pa, and the William P. Spyker Post, No. 520, American Legion, Alexandria, Pa. A Republican; member of Christ Reformed Church. His wife a member of the Brethren Church of Huntingdon, Pa. He was married to Grace Leidy, of Water Street, Pa. One daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
