Fireman: Born at Huntingdon, Pa., on Sept. 30, 1899; first schooling at Fourth Ward schools; attended Huntingdon High School until within one year of graduation; a son of J. S. Kenyon; he has been with the J. C. Blair Stationery Company for twenty-two years; his father was a Civil War veteran. J. S. Kenyon married Bertha McCartney; they reside at 1420 Mifflin street, Huntingdon, Pa. Clair Kenyon was for one year a moulder at Pierce, Butler and Pierce, radiator manufacturers; was at powder plant during the World War for one year; at J. C. Blair Stationery Company for one year; accepted position as fireman at the Huntingdon Specialty Company, a subsidiary of the Susquehanna Silk Company. He lives at 1527 Mifflin street. Belongs to the Church of the Brethren; wife belongs to Baptist Church, Mill Creek, Pa. During World War was a pipefitter at powder plant, Mount Union, Pa. He is a member of the I.O.O.F., Huntingdon, Pa. Votes the Republican ticket. Has one brother, Matthew, Huntingdon, Pa., a butcher; one sister, Carrie, at home. At present Mr. Kenyon is a fireman at the Huntingdon Specialty Co.; has been for the last nine years. He was married to Nellie Swanger, a daughter of John and Nancy Swanger, of Mill Creek, Pa.; the father is deceased; the mother resides at Mill Creek, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Kenyon have two sons, B. Clair, ten years of age, at school; Edwin, eight years of age, at school, and Dorris, six years of age, also attending school. Mr. Kenyon delights in hunting and fishing.
