Passenger, Freight and Express Agent: Was born at Granville, Mifflin County, Pa., on November 17, 1886. The beginning of his educational career was at Granville, Mifflin County, Pa. At present he is the agent for the Penna. R.R. Company at Mill Creek, Pa. His father was Rudolph W. Kline, of Lewistown, Pa. His mother, Anna B. (Owens) Kline, of Granville, Pa., she being deceased. From 1906 to 1907 Mr. Kline was engaged in the general merchandise business at Granville, Pa., and the same line of business at Marysville, Pa., from 1912 to 1915. He has been a Councilman, Auditor, and School Director of Mill Creek Borough; belongs to Lutheran Church; also to Sunday School; member of Perry Lodge, No. 458, F.A.M., of Marysville, Pa.; Modern Woodmen of America, Huntingdon, Pa. Is a Republican in politics. Frank A. Kline, of Marysville, is a brother, and Ethel M. Charles, of Lewistown, Pa., a sister. Charles Edward Kline was married to Madeline L. Piper, of Petersburg, Pa. One daughter, A. Florine, aged eleven years. Three sons: Donald, eight years; Gerald G., six years, and Robert R., aged four years. Trapshooting and hunting he delights in, and when the season is in, finds himself enjoying his favorite sport. Mr. Kline is a good citizen, who takes an interest in the affairs of Mill Creek. He is well versed in railroad affairs; has a large responsibility, occupying as he does and representing the passenger, freight and express interests of the Penna. R.R.
