LYTLE Alexandria, Pa. Blacksmith: Albert R. Lytle, son of H. B. and Sarah (Weidman) Lytle, was born in Germany Valley, Mifflin County, Pa., April 18, 1889. The father was born at Lewistown, Pa.; was a blacksmith; both reside at Altoona, Pa. At Yellow Springs, Blair Co., Pa., Albert Lytle began his education; since the age of sixteen he has been a blacksmith, an expert in his line. For fifteen years he was engaged in business as a blacksmith at Philadelphia, Pa., and at the same place during the World War was a blacksmith. On January 1, 1929, in Alexandria, he engaged in a general blacksmithing and wagonmaking business. He has met with success and through his experience is enabled to turn out first-class work at reasonable prices. Both he and his wife are Methodists. Has seven brothers: Charles, auto mechanic; Homer, machinist, Penna. R.R.; Adam, blacksmith; Joseph, stoker, Philadelphia; William, Penna. R.R.; Harry, blacksmith; Roy, a barber; all are married. Albert R. Lytle was married to Cora Geissinger, a daughter of W. B. and Lettie Geissinger. One daughter married to Ralph Robinson, West Winfield, Pa. Mr. Lytle has built up a large business, drawn from all the adjacent territory. All the facilities are here for the successful carrying on of this business.
