Merchant and Farmer: Bon at Johnstown, Pa., June 24, 1901. A son of Samuel Ambrose Mansberger, who died May 11, 1923. He was married to Cora Emma (Wilson) Mansberger; she is still living. Wilmer Vasy Mansberger began his schooling at Johnstown, Cambria Co., Pa.; from 1907 to 1920 he attended the Locust Grove school in Cass township. He is a merchant and a farmer, and has two farms with a combined acreage of 235 acres; also does truck drayage. He first established himself in business five years ago. He is auditor of Union township, school director and supervisor; he has served on school board. Belongs to M.E. Church at Calvin, Huntingdon Co., Pa.; a member of the Grange, No. 1210, Calvin, Pa. A Republican in politics. He has two brothers: C.S. Mansberger, Three Springs; during the World War was in the Navy; C.D. Mansberger, Lewistown, Pa.; one sister, Mary Elda Cree, Calvin, Pa. Wilmer Vasy Mansberger was married to Anna Irene Harbaugh, a daughter of Oscar and Hilda Harbaugh. Mr. and Mrs. Mansberger have one son, Dwaine, two and one-half years of age. One son, Wilmer Leroy, died at the age of eight months. Mr. Mansberger is an industrious man, constantly busy, and his efforts have been crowned with success.
