MORGAN Mount Union, Pa. Assistant Cashier, First National Bank: Born at Mapleton Depot, Huntingdon Co., Pa., May 13, 1890, and at the Mapleton grade schools laid the foundation of his educational career. William H. Morgan, of Cannonsburg, Washington Co., Pa., is his father; the mother is deceased; American born. Early in life George W. Morgan entered the employ of the postal service at Mount Union, Pa., under the supervision of Postmaster Taylor, in 1906, and for several years was in the government service. In order to advance his knowledge along business lines, he entered the Pennsylvania Business College at Lancaster, Pa., after which he entered the employ of the Mount Union Refractories Co. and the Mount Union Silica Brick Co., and at a later period the General Refractories Co., Mount Union, Pa. He was Secretary of the Mount Union Borough Council for six years; Secretary Mount Union Building and Loan Association; Treasurer of Presbyterian Sunday School; also a Sunday School teacher. His fraternity consists of membership in F.& A.M., No. 688; the A.A.O.N.M.S., Jaffa Temple, Altoona, Pa.; Harrisburg Consistory, Harrisburg, Pa. and I.O.O.F., No. 677, Mount Union, Pa. A Republican in politics; is married. He is the Assistant Cashier of the First National Bank, Mount Union, Pa. The personnel or controlling body is: President, T. A. Appleby; Vice-President, W. J.
