MOSSER Huntingdon, Pa. Building Contractor: Born July 18, 1871, in Juniata Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. A son of Wm. L. Mosser, who was a farmer all his life, and who died in 1927, at the age of seventy-nine years. He was married to Eliza Blair, who died in 1879. Nevin B. Mosser attended the Corbin school in Juniata township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. He has been a farmer; a carpenter since 1892, and a building contractor since 1914. He was recently engaged in building the J.C. Penny Store building and separate apartments at the corner of Seventh and Washington streets, Huntingdon, Pa. Other buildings he has erected or remodeled are Huntingdon Wholesale Grocery Co., Poser Bldg.; remodeled the Clifton Theatre and many other buildings. He is prepared at all times to give estimates on all classes of work in building construction. He belongs to the Abbey Reformed Church of Huntingdon, Pa.; has been a deacon and elder; his wife also is a member. He is a Republican. He has one brother, Albert, a carpenter, Huntingdon, Pa. One sister, Mary, deceased. Nevin B. Mosser was married to Ida McGunigal, a daughter of Henry McGunigal. Mr. and Mrs. Mosser have two sons: Dr. Blair Mosser, who is surgeon in chief of the Kane Hospital, and a member of the Masonic Fraternity; he is a graduate of the Huntingdon High School and also of the University of Pennsylvania. Edgar is a State Auditor at Berwick, Pa. One son, Earl, died in 1916, of typhoid fever, at the tender age of eighteen years. Nevin B. Mosser, through his knowledge of building construction, ranks high in his profession, employs expert workmen, and as a result has built up a large patronage. At all times he is ready to give plans, estimates and specifications on all classes of work in his line.
